Ruler appears to be a blue-cyan measuring ruler, a ruler used for measuring an object. in the side of his body are lines, 4 large, 3 small.

Personality[]
Ruler is a hopeful person. He is usually cheerful about everything he encounters, especially exploring. Ruler has a vast knowledge of where he goes but is known to lose his sense of direction all the time, admitted by him in Find The Beginning.
Originally, he was very trustful of others. As of Concealed Conundrums, Ruler has lost this trait due to being betrayed by Sharpener in the first challenge. Ever since this, Ruler has major problems with communicating wtih others. His trust issues affect his interactions-in Concealed Conundrums, Ruler ignores Speech Bubble's warnings about the forest, believing he has bad intentions.

Find The Beginning![]
He debuts in Find The Beginning, where he is first seen admitting that he loses his sense of direction often as a response to Toilet Paper saying that he went the wrong way during his race with Medal. He is then seen with Speech Bubble and Picture Frame, touching on how they all feel about the competition. Picture Frame says that she'll win the show, and Ruler offers to help. Picture Frame responds by cementing her decision to go solo. During the challenge, he is teleported next to Sharpener and asks if they can work together. Sharpener agrees. Later, he is seen with Sharpener who knows where to go. Sharpener tells Ruler to take all right turns, not disclosing that left is the way that actually leads to the end. At the end of the episode, he asks why Sharpener told him to go in the wrong direction.
Concealed Conundrums![]
In Concealed Conundrums, Ruler is first seen in Smartie's dream sequence, saying goodbye to Speech Bubble. Smartie asks him about Picture Frame's plan and Ruler answers truthfully, telling her to go ask her herself. As she proceeds to go find her with the direction that Picture Frame is talking to Thing, Ruler creepily says that she shouldn’t get involved. Thing, Picture Frame and Ruler start scaring her and threatening her. During the elimination, Ruler asks why Thing technically kidnapped them to bring to the Elimination Area. He was safe with 11 votes. During the challenge, Sharpener approaches him and Ruler talks about how he doesn't want to trust anyone anymore because of Sharpener's betrayal. Sharpener wishes him luck. Ruler gives him an actual hint. Sharpener believes that he is lying to him and goes in the opposite direction. Ruler finds the end of the maze, securing a safe spot. In the end, he is seen reading a book and hears noises in the forest. He wants to go into the forest, but Speech Bubble says he shouldn’t. He ignores him and he goes anyways. As he wanders through the forest, he sees a figure similar to Thing, which says that he shouldn’t have come into the forest, proceeding to petrify him.
Hue Drive Me Insane![]
In Hue Drive Me Insane, Ruler is on a black square on the challenge's platform. Speech Bubble runs over to him and Ruler apologizes for not believing his warnings, venting about his trust issues. Speech Bubble tells him he wants to befriend him, and Ruler gets anxious. Despite Speech Bubble's reassurance, Ruler says that he still wants to think it over. He is next seen running to another platform and falling face-down. Medal, later, then goes on the same platform as him. He moves to a red platform, as Toilet Paper says that he’ll stay on his platform, saying that the red platform is probably safe, much to Ruler's worry due to his trust issues. At the end of the challenge, Ruler says that it wasn’t fun as he phyiscally hurt himself. Upon finding Twig's dead body, Ruler asks if Magic Wand could just revive him.

- He was possibly friends with Picture Frame.
- His voice actor, YoshiTails13 also voices other object show characters: Backpack in The Land of Brimton, Salt Water in Irrational Items, Party Hat in Ultimate Insanity and Microphone from Object Harshness.
- Ruler is Gay/Homosexual.
- In the Nonexistent Living Intro (Wicked Widgets Style), he brought a magnifying glass to look at. He's also a detective.
